We Work Around Your Busy ScheduleHouse painting is a big job. Let's work together to make this transformation easy as possible. We always do our best to work with your schedule so your day to day life can carry on.
Of course the most ideal situation is when you are planning a family vacation to the Caribbean or maybe heading North to the Cottage. We can complete your home transformation while you're away and we can have everything ready for you when you get back home. If a trip isn't in your near future, we will always do our best to stay out of your way during house painting while being punctual, productive and thorough. |
CustomizationIf you can dream it, we can achieve it. Wallpaper installation, accent walls and staircases and exterior painting is our day to day specialties.
Don't risk ruining your new wallpaper with poor installation. Messy accent walls bring the wrong impression. Falling from the top of a ladder trying to reach that one spot that's a bit too far over, is never worth the months of agony and regret from a fall. Let our painters take care of it so you can sit back and enjoy your very own freshly painted home. |
Ingersoll Professional Painters ensure every job is properly prepped, applied with skill and cleaned with care. Our Reputation is everything and we want you to tell your friends and family all about your experience."
Why Should You Choose Us?
Our interior painting contractors spend just as much time preparing and setting up as they do actually house painting. Let's go over the work that helps us stand out from the rest. The following points describe our basic setup for each and every job. We have the experience and skills to get the job done professionally and to leave you smiling at the finished product. Here is just a rough idea of what house painters do before we open the paint can.
We inspect the walls with a hand light to bring out any hard to see imperfections, which is referred to as "raking". A piece of tape is placed next to each spot. When we have all trouble areas identified we can quickly and efficiently apply spackling or joint compound to ensure a beautiful finished wall everytime.
Pull "popped nails" by inserting a screw within 2 inches above or below the popped nail and then cover with 3 coats of joint compound.
Prime torn paper edges. We sand and then apply joint compound to smooth and hide the flaw. After applying joint compound, we cover it with primer before painting to prevent “flashing.” Flashing occurs when joint compound absorbs the paint, dulling the finish.
Tape and Fill damaged corners. Applying joint compound one side at a time to ensure it will be squared and then sand.
Cut around glue spots. We score the paper with a utility knife, then strip off the old glue.
Fill Holes. Depending on the size of the hole we use spackling or joint compound. We apply 3 coats, letting each coat dry before reapplying the next.
Cut out wall cracks using a utility knife to cut a V-shaped groove along its entire length. Filling the groove with joint compound, letting it dry, then sanding it flush with the wall. To prevent the crack from returning again, we place mesh tape over the crack apply joint compound over the tape and feather it out several times.
Aluminum patches are used for bigger drywall holes. They are the quickest and easiest way to keep the job on schedule and create a flawless finish.
Prime Wall Marks. We know regular primers will not be enough to cover the water stains and crayon that wouldn't wipe away. Using a KILZ paint primer will cover the marks and get us that much closer to the final task; painting.

As mentioned, they are quite bold so you may want to consider starting with an accent wall, small bathroom or adding wainscotting to a living room to break up the colour.

Embracing colour can be intimidating. Consider one of the Benjamin Moore recommended neutral pairings for your next house painting project.
